This was a hard challenge for many reasons. It is the first layout I have ever done about me. It was hard to find a picture of me, and it was hard to have to focus on me. But it is done and I am happy with the results.
The page is digital and I scrap-lifted the idea from Julia Deguia at Designer Digitals - I really love her pages and borrow her ideas a lot.
Looking forward to challenge #7

Use your Stuff challenge #5
Wow, hard to believe this is week 5 and I have completed all the challenges!! Yeah me!! I am not usually very good at doing what others tell me to do, but Michal has kept me focused and I have stayed on task.
This week I applied the challenge to one of my pages from my December Daily page from last year. I think I am a little behind, because I'm only on page 14 of the month. I thought I would keep it simple this last year having a standard page and then adding the pictures in different block formations. Somehow I still ended up making it more complicated than it should be and did not get it finished. However now that I am back on this horse again, maybe I will get it done by the beginning of December if I don't get distracted doing other things.....
Anyway here is my page for this week, sweet, simple and digital.

I had such fun creating this card. Thanks to the Use Your Stuff challenge I discovered Glimmer Mist and fell instantly in love! I first put Glimmer Mist on the tree, and loved it so much I had to go back the next day and buy two more colours, - and I didn't stop there. I am now the proud owner of 6 bottles of Glimmer mist I have a special shelf in my scrap room to display them, and can hardly wait to use them on my Disney pages and Christmas cards.
Sparkle here I come!!
I know that part of the challenge is to use your stuff, but I think that the fact that everything else that I used on this page I have had for at least 8 years (since that is when I last paper scrapbooked). I think the new purchase is cancelled out by all the old stuff I used (at least that is the story I am sticking to)!!
Anyway, here is the card I created for my Mother-In-Law for Roch Hashanah. I love how it turn out and love all the glitter on it. I think it is funny how the glitter shows up so much more in this picture that it did on the card (probably because I cheated and used my flash instead of using natural light).
Looking forward to next week challenge.

Well, here I am, writing a blog. My sister has once again got me into something I never thought I would do. At least this one didn't cost me any money!! (Yet).
On this blog I hope to be able to share the pages, cards and crafts I create, as well as my enthusiasm for my Silhouette, Copic Markers, Digital Scrapbooking, cardmaking, photography, Glimmer Mist and anything else catches my fancy.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog.
